To be eligible for treatment at DOE Medical, you must meet a few key criteria in line with UK prescribing guidelines for cannabis-based medicines:
- Primary Condition Diagnosis: You must have a formal diagnosis of a primary medical condition. This could include chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, or other conditions considered for cannabis-based treatment.
- Previous Treatment History: Ideally, you should have previously tried at least two licensed (prescription-only) medications or conventional treatments for your condition. These should be treatments prescribed by a healthcare professional and not over-the-counter remedies.
